With over 1.9 million people displaced and more than 15,800 Palestinians killed since October 7th, it’s not tenable for anybody to remain neutral or silent. We must all join in the demand for a cessation of all acts of violence against the civilian population in Gaza.
As we draw close to the festive season and prepare to celebrate with our families, we should think about those children, women and men who are under constant bombardment. Let us be true to our universal commitment: “ALL HUMAN BEINGS ARE BORN FREE AND EQUAL IN DIGNITY AND RIGHTS.” (Article 1, Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
