After 9 days from the time she was abducted, our comrade Kemigisha Sharon was dumped by her captors in an unknown place last night, where a kind-hearted boda-boda rider picked her and delivered her at the NUP office towards midnight. She says that all this time, she was being kept in solidarity confinement, but heard other people crying out of torture in adjacent rooms. Apparently, they were interrogating her about her numerous interviews in which she’s been very critical of the regime. In tears, she told us how those thugs at some point forced her to undress and took her pictures while mocking her. Thankfully her spirit is not broken! It falls on us as a people to collectively put an end to these crimes against humanity.
