Today marks nine (9) days since our Rwenzori subregion coordinator, Comrade Bwambale, was abducted from the areas of Wakiso by plain-clothed men wielding guns.
Our legal team has been trying to establish facts concerning his whereabouts since then, but they have been unsuccessful as of this writing.
The security agencies, particularly the police, have been entirely tight-lipped on the subject. He is now being held arbitrarily, and he has not been arraigned in any court of law to answer any formal charges, if any exist.
He joins a long list of several comrades, known and unknown, who continue to be subject to the harshness of the dictatorial regime because of their dissenting political opinions.
