Pro Media News Uganda | On 24th February, 2020, Ritah Nabukenya, a young but strong mobilizer for the People Power Movement was killed when a police truck knocked her. She was dressed in her #PeoplePower attire seated on a boda boda going for an event, when the thugs identified her and started their pursuit. After crushing her, they drove away. Soon after, we demanded for the CCTV footage from the spot from where she was killed from. Enanga would then say that the cameras were not working that particular day. It has been four painful years since she was murdered in cold blood. Four painful years of her family waiting for justice in vain. May her soul continue resting in peace, and may we continue working hard to see that Ritah and many like her eventually get justice.
